Le Bioblitz Urbain 2013 s'est tenu le 4 et 5 octobre 2013 au Mont Royal. Le tout s'est déroulé sous forme de circuit-découverte dans les sentiers du flanc nord de la montagne. Les groupes scolaires du vendredi et le grand public du samedi se sont déplacés le long du parcours, tandis que les naturalistes et bénévoles étaient stationnaires à leurs parcelles.

Geographic Coverage

Mont Royal, Montréal, Québec, Canada. Le bioblitz 2013 s'est déroulé sur le flanc nord du sommet Outremont. La zone à l’étude était plus précisément le boisé de l’Université de Montréal ainsi que le boisé Saint-Jean Baptiste, qui formeront le futur parc du Troisième sommet.

Sampling Methods

L'identification a été effectuée en utilisant les noms vernaculaires. Les noms scientifiques ont ensuite été associés. Pour les végétaux, la méthode des quadrats de 20m par 20m a été utilisée.

Study Extent Le bioblitz urbain a durée 2 jours (4 et 5 octobre 2013) et a couvert le Parc du Troisième-Sommet du Mont Royal.
