Description
The Mammal collection consists of 3,700 skins, mounts, skeletons, and tissue samples. 86% of the specimens are from Saskatchewan. The RSM also has 86,000 small mammals identified from owl pellets collected across the Canadians grassland region not included in this dataset (https://data.canadensys.net/ipt/resource?r=rskm-owlpellets).
Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 3,782 records.
