The Heteroptera (Hemiptera) of the Prairie Ecozone of Canada

Latest version published by Biological Survey of Canada on Sep 15, 2014 Biological Survey of Canada

Five hundred and eighty-two Heteroptera taxa are listed for the Prairie Ecozone in Canada. This number represents 40.7% of the taxa reported for Canada, and 79.2% of the taxa recorded from the three prairie provinces. The dominant components are species with a Nearctic, excluding Beringia distribution. However, the Great Basin Prairie element is the most distinctive.

Data Records

The data in this checklist resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 735 records.

This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Downloads
