Description
La Collection d'insectes du Québec a été constituée au cours des années 1970 et 1971 en regroupant la collection du ministère des Affaires culturelles, jusque-là conservée au Musée d'histoire naturelle du Québec, et celles du ministère de l'Agriculture et de la Colonisation et du ministère des Terres et Forêts de l'époque. Ces trois collections comprenaient près de 1 000 tiroirs et un peu plus de 60 000 spécimens, dont plusieurs avaient été récoltés au début du siècle. Le jeux de données publié ici représente les odonates de la CIQ.
