Description
This inventory represents a list of the taxa held in the collection, the number of specimens of each taxon, and the geographic provenance the the taxon. Taxa distributed in more than one insect drawer or vial rack appear more than once; these data should be considered additive and not duplicate.
Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 27,378 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
Versions
The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.

Geographic Coverage
The geographic hierarchy is limited to "Quebec", "North America", and "Exotic". The location is set to Quebec (Québec) if at least one specimen was collected there, even if other specimens were collected elsewhere. Likewise, a taxon is located in North America (Amérique du Nord) if at least one specimen was collected there, but only if no specimen was collected in Quebec. If not specimen was collected in North America, the taxon is considered Exotic (Éxotique).
